1925:
The success story of Müller Holzbearbeitung began with great-grandfather Heinrich Müller, who opened a joinery in Altenessen.
His son Otto Müller built the first production hall in Essen-Borbeck with an area of 1,000 m² and specialized in window construction. His sons – Otto Müller as a master craftsman and Heinrich Müller as an engineer – continued the business and steadily expanded the production area and machinery.
2012/13:
The major conversion was carried out by the 4th generation with Matthias and Stephan, both wood technicians, in collaboration with father Heinrich: they expanded the production area to 7,000 m² and invested in more modern machinery.
2018:
The last major purchase: Matthias and Stephan Müller decided to convert the entire final assembly for frames and sashes towards full automation.
2019/2020:
The machines were gradually put into operation for the fully automated final assembly of frames and sashes and now ensure that every possible batch size runs smoothly. The sashes and frames are completed in a 2-minute production cycle, ensuring a high output of approx. 250 windows per day.
